This piece was burned by hand on a basswood log slice, with bark along the upright edges. It measures 13 inches tall, 8.5 inches wide, and 3/4 of an inch thick. The top and bottom edges are burned as well, and the piece is coated in a clear lacquer for dust and moisture protection.
