Why Woodburning?
Hey there!
I got interested in wood carving when I was 12, and my step-grandpa (who was a woodturner) took notice and gave me my very first pocket knife. Ever since then, I've been immersed in one woodworking project or another! We got along really well, and after he passed away from cancer in 2012, I inherited the rest of his woodworking tools. Among them was his woodburning unit, which I began practicing with. I enjoyed woodburning more than anything else I had tried, and it stuck!
I now use his sturdy workbench, woodburning unit, knives, and saws almost every day. I'm honored to carry on his handcrafting legacy. I wouldn't be where I am now if it wasn't for my wonderful Grandpa Charlie.
I've been burning for 10 years now, and always finding ways to improve my art!

“These are perfect for any hanging calendar! They are a good size, great quality, and come with S hooks attached (which work better than loops to avoid the chains twisting and turning over). The seller is fantastic to work with as well, great with communication and makes sure youre getting exactly what you want beforehand. For my project pictured, I ordered a custom calendar sign from a different seller, as well as additional smaller wood discs from Amazon (I stained them darker to match and add contrast). The finished product is just STUNNING! In my opinion, these are the best engraved discs you can get... they really made my project pop and come together while maintaining a natural charm and uniqueness.”
