Avatar; The Last Airbender Map
This map takes over 100 hours of meticulous burn and color work, and is really quite stunning.
I used markers, acrylic paints, and stains to create the color for the land and ocean areas, and coated the entire piece in a water resistant lacquer finish for dust and moisture protection.
There is a picture wire hanger on the back, along with the title, year made, and my artist signature.
This one in the photos was made on 24x16x3/4 inch thick birch wood.
