100 Aker Wood bark edge woodburned map
This adorable and nostalgic woodburning of the classic Winnie the Pooh 100 Acre Wood map (complete with original word misspellings) was burned on a piece of basswood with live edge bark on the top and bottom edges, and burned with a torch along the side edges.
The color was done with both regular and watercolor pencils, and coated with a clear lacquer for dust and moisture protection. There is a jute rope hanger stapled securely to the back for hanging, and it comes with the year made and artist signature on the back as well.
The photos show a child’s name included in the banner along the bottom of the map - this can be customized and must be specified when ordering, or it will automatically be left out.
This piece measures approximately 12 inches tall, 15 inches wide, and 3/4 inches thick. Due to live edge bark wood slices being varied, this measurement is subject to change slightly, but I will aim to keep future versions of this piece as similar in size as I can.
