100 Aker Wood Map
NOTE: This item is made to order - Due to the fact that I work full time and am also in college, it will take me longer than usual to make this for you, but rest assured, it will be worth the extra wait time! Thank you for your support and patience!
This adorable and nostalgic woodburning of the classic Winnie the Pooh 100 Acre Wood map (complete with original word misspellings) was burned on a piece of basswood with live edge bark on the top and bottom edges, and burned with a torch along the side edges.
The color was done with both regular and watercolor pencils, and coated with a clear lacquer for dust and moisture protection. There is a jute rope hanger stapled securely to the back for hanging, and it comes with the year made and artist signature on the back as well.
The photos show a child’s name included in the banner along the bottom of the map - this will automatically be left out.
This piece measures approximately 12 inches tall, 15 inches wide, and 3/4 inches thick. Due to live edge bark wood slices being varied, this measurement is subject to change slightly, but I will aim to keep future versions of this piece as similar in size as I can.
